Noxious Weed Report Tool for In Situ and OSE

This project will encourage Suncor staff to identify noxious weeds and report them through a GIS platform which can then be used to ensure the weed control consultant has up to date info for the annual noxious weed management program. Components of the Coordinated Noxious Weed Management Program will include: (1) internal webpage to centralize information and links to content; (2) noxious weed species fact sheets; (3) designation of Weed and Vegetation Management Coordinator responsibilities; (4) contractor management (one contract with one company); (5) Interactive Map Reporting Tool for location detection, tracking and reporting; (6) standard GIS spatial and tabular data deliverables.

The program was implemented in 2018.
